Regulator To Review Standard Design For South Korean Small Modular Reactor
- South Korea’s NSCC will begin a design review for a proposed i-SMR submitted by the country’s SMR Technology Development Project Group.
- The NSCC said a meeting was held between the country’s nuclear regulators and developers including KHNP and Kepco/E&C to kick off the review process.
- The NSCC said that this standard design approval would be valid for a ten-year period and allow for repeat construction of the same nuclear power plant design.

- 두산에너빌리티는 체코 신규 원전 사업인 두코바니 원전 5·6호기에 공급할 증기터빈과 터빈 제어시스템에 대한 약 3,200억 원 규모의 계약을 자회사 두산스코다파워와 체결했다고 밝혔다.
- 이번에 체결된 계약은 팀코리아가 체코 현지 기업과 맺는 첫 번째 대규모 협력 계약으로, 사업 초기 단계부터 체코 정부가 강조하는 현지화 일환이다.
