사용후핵연료 저장용기 시장 언제 열리나…한빛원전 출격 대기
- 한수원은 이르면 내년부터 한빛원전에서 3900억원 규모 캐스크 입찰을 진행할 예정이다.
- 복수의 업계 관계자는 “한빛원전만 따로 떼어내 입찰이 열리는 것으로 확정됐다”며 “고리, 한울원전의 경우 건식저장모듈을 구축하는 쪽으로 계획이 바뀌었다”고 말했다.
- 저장공간에 다소 여유가 있는 고리, 한울원전의 경우 한수원이 자체 개발 중인 ‘수직모듈형건식저장모델(COSMOS)’ 건식저장모듈의 조기 투입이 유력한 상황이다.
- 연말까지 설계를 마치면 전체 사업 일정상 1호기 해체를 앞둔 고리원전(2032년 포화)에도 배치할 수 있다는 게 한수원 측의 판단이다.
Czech Republic Launches Key Plan To Modernise Turbine Halls At Dukovany Nuclear Station
- The Dukovany nuclear power station in the Czech Republic is launching a key plan to modernise its two turbine halls with part of the work aimed at preparing an $811m (€692m) project to supply district heating to the nearby city of Brno.
- State power company ČEZ said the aim is to ensure the safe operation of the turbine halls, which house the turbines and generators that convert heat produced by the nuclear reactor into electricity, for at least 60 years.
- By the end of 2026, ČEZ wants to have a clear picture of the scope and costs of the entire project at the four-unit facility, a statement said.
First Segment Of Inner Steel Containment Installed At China’s Shidaowan-2

- China has installed the first segment of the inner steel containment for Unit 2 of the Shidaowan nuclear power station in the northeastern province of Shandong.
- The segment serves as the bottom of the inner containment, which is designed to preserve hermetic conditions during reactor operation and prevent radioactive leakage into the environment in the event of an emergency.
- Shidaowan-2 is a domestic Hualong One, or HPR1000, pressurised water reactor (PWR) unit, construction of which began in May 2025.
- Phase II of the Shidaowan expansion will include two additional Hualong One PWRs – Shidaowan-3 and -4.
