- Westinghouse is looking to build out the country’s supply chain and secure financing models as part of an $80bn (€69bn) deal struck between the US and Japan in 2025, according to Cameco.
- Since the deal was signed three areas were being worked on, the first being a build out of the supply chain.
- A part of this package was ordering long-lead items ahead of time to really stimulate that global supply chain with a big enough order, say not for just two reactors, but for 10 reactors.

- Microsoft and Nvidia have announced a partnership to use artificial intelligence to boost the “entire lifecycle” of nuclear power.
